Practicare Medical Management, Inc. was established in 1988, with a mission to provide healthcare professionals with medical billing expertise, and Accounts Receivable management services. Since our inception as a medical billing organization, we have witnessed dramatic changes in the healthcare delivery marketplace. Physicians must function effectively not only as clinicians, but effective business managers to remain profitable in this volatile environment. Practicare has witnessed these changes firsthand, and understands how these shifts in the healthcare marketplace have impacted Physicians. Our organization provides comprehensive Medical Management services to insure that Providers not only survive, but also prosper in that environment.

Because each medical practice is unique, our organization prepares customized billing systems, and data solutions, to effectively meet each client’s specific needs. Our organization utilizes state of the art computer systems that allow our staff to quickly resolve payment issues, and improve cash flow.

Practicare is structured in such a way that our clients are able to quickly resolve many different issues with a single inquiry to our staff of Client Managers. These Client Managers are knowledgeable and experienced professionals, who assume “ownership” of the profitability of your practice. They will work closely with your staff to provide your Practice with the highest quality service possible. Our Client Managers have thorough knowledge of a given specialty area, are proactive in addressing questions or problems, and are equipped to respond to inquiries from patients and payers so you and your staff are able to focus on clinical issues. Finally, our Client Managers continually monitor financial and operational parameters specific to your practice to gain an intimate understanding of the optimal administration of your account.

Practicare appreciates the importance of technology, and the impact it can have on your organizations’ profitability. To that end, we currently process a large proportion of our procedures electronically, and we are a preferred vendor with NEIC/Envoy.

Practicare Site Locations:

Our Corporate headquarters is located in Syracuse, NY with satellite claims processing sites located in Binghamton, Oswego, and additional locations throughout Eastern and Southeastern New York State. This range of geographical coverage allows the organization to effectively provide services for more than 50 multi-specialty medical practices located throughout New York State, New Jersey, and Pennsylvannia.

Corporate Compliance:

Our organization is committed to conducting business in an ethical and professional manner, and seeks to eliminate heath care fraud and abuse. To that end, Practicare adheres to a Corporate Compliance Plan that is commensurate with the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Guidelines for third party billing services. Copies of this plan are available upon request.  Practicare will also provide copies of its SAS 70 report which describes an operational review of its polices and procedures by an independent accounting firm.
