James Antonacci, BS – Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Antonacci founded Practicare Medical Management in 1988, and has been the driving force of the growth of the organization since its inception. Having significant experience in medical billing on behalf of Hospital based, Private practice, and Academic specialists, Jim is uniquely qualified to oversee our clients’ billing activities, and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA), and Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA).
Mark Gilbert, MBA, SC(ASCP)– Director of Operations
Mr. Gilbert has over twenty five years of experience in Health Care Administration, with specific expertise in Clinical Laboratory, Pathology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Otolaryngology, Office and Hospital Based practices. This experience is central to the effective management of the daily operations of Practicare, as well as the operational and financial affairs of our clientele. Mark is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA). Mr. Gilbert is also a certified consultant on the Allscripts Professional PM and EHR applications.
Kathy Atwell - Regional Manager; Binghamton
Ms. Atwell has over twelve years of experience with Practicare, and specializes in billing for Diagnostic Imaging, Pathology, Ambulance, Anesthesia, and Primary Care specialties
Stephanie Goldberg, BA - Regional Manager; Syracuse
Ms. Goldberg has over ten years of experience in billing and accounts receivable management for Clinical Laboratories and Office Based Practices.
Evelyn Hill - Regional Manager; Syracuse
Ms. Hill has been with Practicare for thirteen years, and specializes in Hospital Based Practices such as Diagnostic Imaging and Pathology administration.
Joseph LaPlant, BS - Account Executive
Mr. LaPlant has joined Practicare Medical Management in May 2007. Joe has over twenty years of technology based sales and support throughout Upstate New York. Joe is responsible for marketing, sales, and client relations.
George Shaheen, MS; CMPA – Business Systems Analyst
Mr. Shaheen has been with Practicare for over eight years and provides all levels of analysis for clients with operational and financial concerns that help support effective decision-making. Mr. Shaheen is a member of the American Academy of Medical Practice Analysts (AAMPA), and has earned the Certified Medical Practice Analyst (CMPA) designation from that organization.
David Cadkin – Information Systems Programmer / Software Developer
Mr. Cadkin has been working with Practice Management Information Technology systems for over nineteen years and is specialized in custom programming that allows Practicare to meets clients needs. In addition, David is specialized in document imaging software programming.
James Lamb, BS – Information Systems Customer Support Coordinator
Mr. Lamb has nineteen years of experience in the management of Practicare’s Medical Management Information System. His expertise is central to the efficient operation of electronic billing systems, and our ability to customize Information Technology requirements on behalf of our clients. Jim is also well qualified to integrate the Billing System with other software products to produce relevant and timely Ad Hoc reporting on behalf of our clients.
Stan Davis, MCSE - Information Systems Network Administrator
Mr. Davis has been working with Practice Management Information Technology systems for over fifteen years and is specialized in network administation. Stan is key to supporting our clients hardware and networking needs and that of our staff.
